Welcome to AOTS Alumni Society in Egypt

AOTS Alumni Society – Egypt was officially set up in 1994 by a group of Egyptians who had undergone either the management or technical training programs with the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS). Egypt welcomes foreign direct investments to open manufacturing plants here by offering high quality low production cost. As a result of this, FDI is expected to jump in the ensuing years and there is a tremendous need for skilled labor and technically competent management. AOTS Japan is helping to fill this gap by providing scholarships for management and technical training in Japan. With an initial membership of 50 persons, the society today boasts ex-participants of approximately 4000, some of whom have opted to becoming life members. Few of our members have also ventured into business, having learnt to the basics of entrepreneurship. Today they are into the fields of manufacturing, trading, contracting, consulting and training.

When participants of AOTS training programs return to their home county after studying in Japan, they join their AOTS Alumni Society – Egypt and dedicate themselves to the economic and industrial development of their respective companies and the enhancement of friendly relations with Japan and other countries. There are over seventy AOTS alumni societies in 43 countries all over the world. Among these associations, AOTS Alumni Society – Egypt is one of the leading ones in organizing seminars & training programs in Egypt.

The Society has its own administrative office at Maadi, Cairo. Egypt. Besides providing training programs to enhance the country’s human resource skills, in its continuous pursuit to becoming the premier regional center for educational excellence, it has now graduated to become a provider of management and entrepreneurial programs for people from other developing African nations. This would not only assist Egypt’s aspirations of being a recognized industrialized and developed nation by year 2020. AOTS Alumni Society-Egypt would continue to contribute to Egypt’s other aspirations to be a major player in world’s economic, business, educational, and technical training arena
